About the Successful Sleeper Program

The Successful Sleeper program has been developed to help you get the right amount and better quality sleep. Thus, you are guaranteed a more fulfilling and healthier life. Our methodologies are based on proven sleep and recovery science techniques and takes a holistic approach in reaching the set goals in a relatively short period of time, with minimum effort and maximum results.

We generally start with a sleep questionnaire that helps us identify your individual needs. Then we continue with a sleep tracking diary to monitor your progress throughout the program and beyond.

During the program you will be coached through a  recommended plan of action. Which is centered around three key performance areas, namely: cognitive functioning, sleep recovery and sleep hygiene.

Key Performance Areas

Cognitive Functioning

Sleep Recovery

Sleep Hygiene

Poor sleep influences various aspects of cognitive functioning, including decreased concentration, poor memory, and protracted processing speed. Inadequate sleep may diminish alertness and attention, which in turn affects many other cognitive abilities such as processing speed, memory, and executive functioning.

Research shows associations among sleep duration, cognition, and mental health with the consistent finding that poor sleep is associated with both negative affect and less efficient cognitive functioning. Sleep disturbance is often comorbid with mood and psychiatric illness and may be a cause or consequence of distress.

The brain and central nervous system play the most significant role in optimal physical performance. Without proper rest and restoration, you start degrading muscle growth and recovery, and your central nervous system stops recharging, so you feel tired, unmotivated, and weak in your workouts and performance.

Without the proper amount of recovery and sleep, any exercise or training will yield little or no results. The Successful Sleeper Program goes into detail on optimal recovery methods, with scientifically proven results.

Sleep hygiene refers to healthy sleep habits. Good sleep hygiene is important because of how crucial getting good sleep is for your mental and physical health, as well as your overall quality of life.

Common sleeping problems (such as insomnia) are often caused by bad habits reinforced over years or even decades. You can dramatically improve your sleep quality by making a few minor adjustments to lifestyle and attitude.

The importance of sleep

Sleep plays an important role in good health and well-being throughout your life. Making sure that you get enough quality sleep, as well as the right amount thereof, will ensure that you have improved mental health, physical health, quality of life, and safety.

How you feel during your awake time depends a lot on how well you sleep. While you are asleep the body enters a state of recovery and restoration that includes muscle repair, tissue growth, protein synthesis and the release of hormones that aid in proper brain functioning.

Sleep deficiency has many risks, some more long term than others. It has been scientifically proven that a lack of sleep is associated with many chronic health conditions. It also affects your ability to regulate your mood and increases the risk of injury due to drowsiness and reduced motor functioning.

Some Key Benefits of getting Proper Sleep
